Hands-On Training Using EBT
The bulk of our BAT training class time is devoted to performance oriented, hands-on training on operating the EBT. We provide EBT instruments to maximize each student’s hands-on practice. Students receive thorough, in-depth training on how the breath testing instrument works, how to respond to error messages, and how to perform the required Accuracy Checks and Calibration Adjustments. Students demonstrate proficiency by performing the required mock alcohol tests with real time observation in front of our professional instructor.

Dynamic Instructor
Our instructors' effective, personable presentation skills consistently earn high marks from students. Their energetic style engages students in learning and absorbing the course material. Our instructors' passion for training and for the subject matter creates the ideal adult learning experience, enhancing the probability that every student will succeed.

Emphasis on Compliance
AlcoPro shares DOT’s commitment to ensure that drug and alcohol testing procedures are performed correctly. Our instructor’s unique background that includes a law degree and work experience as Human Resource Director helps explain why AlcoPro’s BAT training is geared towards 100% compliance with workplace testing regulations. BAT students have the opportunity to discuss with our instructor questions about policies and procedures relating to drug and alcohol testing.

BAT and Calibration Technician Certificates
Students who successfully demonstrate proficiency using the instrument and successfully pass the written exams receive a BAT certificate. We also offer certification as Factory Authorized Calibration Technician on Intoximeters instruments.

BAT Re-Certification
DOT regulations require BATs to be re-trained at least every five years. AlcoPro’s BAT Training meets and exceeds the requirements for re-certification.

CEU Certificate
Students who successfully complete our BAT training receive a CEU certificate for 13 contact hours (1.3 CEU credits.)
